Scope of Project
What we want to change:
We hope that as technology progresses in other industries, we can be
innovators within the estate agents business. We want to use VR software so
that our customers experience something new and show some excitement about the
whole experience of buying a house.
What we want to keep:
We want to keep the experience of buying a house the same with the
same steps. However, we want to offer an optional step of the VR experience in
different houses we have on offer.
The problem we’re solving:
Many people waste time visiting homes and disliking them as soon as
they walk through the door. Using this VR we have up-to-date images that the
user can move around and if they are interested, bookings can be made to see
the house in person.
Possible problems with this:
Many people may not be willing to use VR to experience this or they
may see it as a waste of time.
Audience:
Our audience is anyone looking to buy a home. First time buyers all
the way to retirement buyers. Younger people may be more willing to experience
this so we can push for them to try more than older people. We want first time
buyers of younger ages to not feel as scared of the whole experience. We want
them to have up-to-date technology for a more comfortable situation.
Competition:
Other estate agents are our competitors
Tone/Feeling:
We want our customers to feel welcomed to our company and welcomed to
the possibility of VR experiences.
Measuring success:
We will ask for feedback from everyone who uses the VR system, and
measure what percentage of people use this experience in their house buying
process.
We are Boatin and Mitchell. We are a completely normal estate agents
but we believe that we should move forward with technology. We use up-to-date
Virtual Reality technology to give you a more immersive, efficient, and easier
experience when buying your house.
We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, 20 minutes north of London.

through helping in any and every way we can.

Project Objectives
We hope that we can excite customers with this new experience, as we
want to improve the efficiency of the whole house-buying process.
Our target audience will be any home buyers. We will primarily focus
our VR experience with younger buyers, even first-time buyers as based on our
research, they are more open to new technological experiences.
